KICK & CARE – Fußball hilft was born from the conviction that football can do more than inspire: it brings people together, gives hope and, above all, can deliver real, tangible help.
At a time when social challenges such as poverty, loneliness, displacement, unequal opportunities and health burdens are all too visible, KICK & CARE uses the universal language of sport and the emotions surrounding it to build bridges, raise awareness and bring support to where it is urgently needed.

The overarching goal of the project is to provide concrete, direct help through a wide range of activities and fundraising.
Short term
Organise charity matches, tournaments and charity events, and provide direct help.
Medium term
Establish the annual KICK & CARE Charity Day in the region as an action day full of sport and activities. Raise awareness of social issues and build networks of clubs, schools, businesses and social organisations.
Long term
Set up a fund for children’s and youth projects in sport, anchor a national and international campaign, and promote education and physical activity sustainably in cooperation with schools and municipalities.

KICK & CARE – Fußball hilft is at home in the Trier region: in the city of Trier and the district of Trier-Saarburg, along the Moselle in the district of Bernkastel-Wittlich, in the Eifel from the Vulkaneifel to the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm – and across the border in Luxembourg. This is where our charity matches, tournaments and charity events take place, and where the help arrives.

KICK & CARE Charity Day 2026 – Salmtalstadion to host the first edition
The charity event’s premiere takes place at the Salmtalstadion – a sporting home with regional appeal and the ideal setting for a day dedicated to football and social commitment.

KICK & CARE – Fußball hilft is a privately run initiative from the Trier region that combines a passion for sport with social responsibility. With charity matches, tournaments and charity events we raise donations and support selected social projects every year.
Where is KICK & CARE active?
In the Trier region: in Trier and the district of Trier-Saarburg, along the Moselle in the district of Bernkastel-Wittlich, in the Eifel (Vulkaneifel and Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm) and in Luxembourg.
