Smiling Stars

When horses give strength and little hearts shine again

That’s when Smiling Stars is at work – a labour of love launched with great dedication by Andrea and Frank Schloßmacher.

At their SIGIS RANCH in Klausen, together with other supporters, they have created a place where children facing difficult circumstances can find new courage.

Animal-assisted therapy – free of charge for the children

Their project Smiling Stars, run by the association SR Westernsports e.V., gives socially disadvantaged and psychologically burdened children – with or without physical disabilities – free animal-assisted therapy, strong support and loving care. A valuable service that is usually not covered by health insurance and would otherwise remain out of reach for many of these children and young people.

With passion, commitment and the help of donations, a safe space has been created here – a place where little hearts can settle through closeness, warmth and trust, gather strength and simply be children.
